The Vision

In 2012, founder Frank Tschida discovered a historic 27,000 sq. ft. former Hudson Motors dealership. The building’s iconic concrete ramp, high ceilings, and industrial bones perfectly matched his dream of creating a craft brewery.

Frank — a former race car driver — saw the space’s automotive heritage as the ideal foundation. The name “Motorworks,” the hood ornament logo, and the innovative brewing spirit all trace back to this building.

In 2012, Frank Tschida purchased the building that would become Motorworks Brewing. With a clear vision and tireless dedication, Frank took on much of the design, construction, and hands-on labor himself. Today, Motorworks Brewing has grown into three distinct locations, each offering its own unique atmosphere while sharing the same commitment to quality, creativity, and connection. From the original Bradenton brewery and beer garden to Tampa, and the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, the Motorworks experience continues to reach more craft beer lovers across Florida and beyond.
